Knowledge Test

We offer Victorian heavy vehicle knowledge tests.

If you currently hold a Victorian licence and you're completing your heavy vehicle licence with another state provider (e.g. NSW provider), you must compete a Victorian knowledge test prior to your commencement of training and/or assessment. The knowledge test is a written test based on the material in The Victorian Bus and Truck Drivers’ handbook. The heavy vehicle knowledge test must be passed when you are applying for a heavy vehicle licence for the first time and when upgrading heavy vehicle licence classes.
