How it affects our students and staff.

The Department of Education and Training together with the Department of Health and Human Services has provided guidelines for higher education services.

As per the guidelines, Intrain Assessor will implement the following actions as of 16th March 2020. 

  • Students will be asked to complete a form stating: 
  • They have had no  flu like symptoms such as fevers, aching limbs or respiratory symptoms such as a cough, shortness of breath, runny nose or sneezing.
  • Have not travelled to any significantly affected countries or have had close contact with someone who has the virus or who has travelled fromcountries significantly afected.
If the answer is YES
  • You will be NOT be able to take training with Intrain Assessor. We would then recommend you follow professional advise about self quarantining for 14 days ( or such other period recommended by the department of Health- Ph 1300 651 160), 
  • Unwell students and staff will be sent home, where they should remain until symptoms resolve and it is up to the individual to seek medical assistance as required.
  • Support will be arranged for students that cannot attend regular classes.
