The MK Tipper is perfect for those demanding applications where fuel economy and productivity are high on demand. This truck has been designed locally for local industry and is an ideal tool for municipal duties, wholesale and domestic, landscaping, trade and commercial building supplies, general farming and agriculture just to name a few. The MK Tipper is the first Japanese truck specially designed to operate with an Allison automatic transmission, the first factory tipper in the Australian market with such a driveline option.

Another unique feature is the low tare weight versus overall payload, capable of carrying up to 5.5 tonne – which means it carries more than it weighs! Fleet Max Plus, state of the art telematics system, is fitted to each truck. Automatic user generated reports demonstrate how fuel economy and productivity contributes to these models being a smart purchase decision.

Engine

The Condor models are powered by the GH7 engine and achieve high levels of power and torque. This is a result of refined technology, combining efficient combustion chamber design and high pressure common rail unit injection. Our SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) emission reduction technologies enable the MK to provide excellent fuel economy and environmental performance. All the Condor models meed, and exceed, Euro 5 emission standards.

Complementing the ergonomic cab design are a number of standard features, including SRS airbag, air-suspension driver seats and latest in-dash multimedia unit with GPS and Bluetooth capabilities.

Transmissions

MK 11 250 Tipper comes with a choice between the robust and reliable UD built six-speed manual transmission, or the smooth and efficient Allison 2500 series Automatic. The UD six-speed manual features a power shift mechanism that reduces shift effort for the driver.

UD Trucks is the only Japanese manufacturer that offers an automatic transmission in the tipper range. The Allison 2500 series five-speed automatic transmission improves operator productivity, reduces driver fatigue and reduces emissions.

Performance

UD’s GH7, 7 litre, 6 cylinder uses advanced high-pressure common rail injection, intercooled Turbo and SCR technology to improve fuel economy by approximately 10%. Horsepower and torque increases to 180kW/716Nm - 7% more power, and 4% more torque giving you a refined and efficient transport solution.

Transmissions

MK 11 250 and MK 11 280 come equipped with a UD built six-speed manual transmission. MK 11 250 also has the option of the smooth shifting five-speed Allison automatic. The UD six-speed manual features a power shift mechanism that reduces shift effort for the driver.

MK 11 250’s factory fitted Allison 2500 series five-speed automatic transmission provides operators with better productivity, less driver fatigue and improved emissions. The latest generation Allison electronic-controlled automatic transmissions provide exactly that.
